As remembered by a little memorial tablet, Caterina Fieschi Adorno, daughter of Giacomo Fieschi and Francesca Di Negro, was born in 1447 in this ancient house of Genoa‘s medieval downtown (at number 2 of the extremely narrow Vico degli Indoratori). Some artistical details of the house are preserved, such as a beautiful marble bas relief upon the entrance doorway.
