A very big bust of Andrea Verga can be seen in the midst of the little garden (Largo Richini) in front of the main facade of the The Ospedale Maggiore, or Ca’ Granda in Milan.
On the pedestal this inscription can be read: “Andrea Verga / senatore del regno, / anatomico psichiatra poeta, / direttore dell’ospedale maggiore / di / Milano / dal 1852 al 1865. / Treviglio 1811 – Milano 1895”.
