Jeanne Antide Thouret’s Memorial Tablet

This marble tablet with a sentence of saint Jeanne-Antide Thouret can be found in the Ortomedico courtyard of the Hospital for Incurables (Ospedale degli Incurabili) in Naples.

Saint Jeanne-Antide Thouret was a French nun that ruled the Hospital for Incurables at the beginning of the Nineteenth Century on behalf of Joachim Murat, the French general who governed Naples after Napoleon’s conquest of the reign.
