This memorial tablet in honor of Vincenzo Tiberio can be seen in the entrance hall of Vincenzo Tiberio’s family house and it was inaugurated on the 28th May 2011 in Arzano (via Zanardelli). The italian inscription reads as follows: “LA CITTA’ DI ARZANO / RICORDA / LO SCIENZIATO E MAGGIORE MEDICO DELLA / REGIA MARINA / VINCENZO TIBERIO / CHE PER PRIMO SCOPRI’ LE PROPRIETA’ / ANTIBIOTICHE DELLE MUFFE / OSSERVANDO LE PARETI DEL POZZO DI QUESTA / CASA”.
