This marble memorial tablet of Biagio Castaldi can be seen – among some others – at the foot of the main staircase in the old site of the University of Palermo (now its Law School) in Via Maqueda, 172. The Italian inscription states that colleagues and friends unveiled this monument in 1867, two years after Castaldi’s death.
