This marble memorial tablet of Michele Foderà can be seen – among some others – at the foot of the main staircase in the old site of the University of Palermo (now its Law School) in Via Maqueda, 172. The Italian inscription states that Foderà’s collegues unveiled the tablet 19 years after the scientist’s death (1848), that is in 1867.
