Bartolo Nigrisoli’s Tomb

The tomb of Bartolo Nigrisoli can be found in the cemetery of Sant’Alberto di Ravenna (Strada Provinciale 24). A very simple and little marble tablet remembers the surgeon (“BARTOLO / NIGRISOLI / N. 18-12-1858 / M. 6-11-1948”) under the family tombstone (“PIETRO NIGRISOLI E SUOI”). Pietro Nigrisoli was Bartolo’s grandfather, he himself a physician¹.
