On the morning of 25 October 1600 Andrea Bacci died in Rome in his house in Via Condotti at the age of 76 and was buried in the parish church of San Lorenzo in Lucina (Piazza di S. Lorenzo in Lucina, 5)1. Probably the engraving on the gravestone inside the church are no longer readable.
