This tombstone of Giovanni Battista Bomba can be found by the fourth pillar of the right nave in the Basilica of Sant’Agostino in Rome (Piazza Sant’Agostino). The Latin inscription states as follows:
MEMORIAE/ IO. BABTISTAE BOMBA/ MED. DOCT. AET. SUAE PRINCIPIS/ QUI/ PIE VIXIT A. LXIV/ OBIIT XV KAL. IUN./ A. MDCCCXXXVI/ DOMINICUS FILIUS MED. DOCT./ PARENTI OPT. P. C./ A. MDCCCLXXI
