Luce E Tenebre

The two statues “Luce e Tenebre” (Light and Shadows), which were sculptured in February 1934 by the artist Pasquale Sgandurra (1882-1956), are situated inside the old “Ospedale Neuropsichiatrico della Pizzuta” in Syracuse. They symbolize the opposition between Reason and Madness.
