Palazzo Bortolan

Palazzo Bortolan (Bortolan’s Palace) was part of Saint Leonard’s Hospital complex in Treviso and it was used for various services including housing for the attending physicians in the wards. It is a building of the sixteenth century built in neoclassical style. It has been restored and today it is the seat of various cultural activities such as the Organ Festival of Treviso, the Scientific Committee of the Opera “The Italian Renaissance” and in addition it includes different classrooms and faculties of Padua’s University. The house is a place of high cultural activities dedicated to Latin humanism.
