Chronophotography’s Section

An entire room of the Italian national museum for the history of cinema (Museo Nazionale del Cinema) in Turin is dedicated to the pioneering works by Étienne-Jules Marey, Eadweard Muybridge and Georges Demeny about the use of photography in the scientific study of movement, the so-called chronophotography1.
