Girolamo Fabrizi d’Acquapendente was born in this house – recently restored – in the old town center of Acquapendente, probably in 1533.
On the facade, a marble tablet reports the following italian inscription: “QUI NACQUE NEL 1533 / GIROLAMO FABRIZI / L’ACQUAPENDENTE / INSIGNE ANATOMICO E / CHIRURGO / IL COMUNE COMMEMORANDO / IL 360° ANNIVERSARIO DELLA / SUA MORTE / POSE / 21 MAGGIO 1979”.
