This medical newspaper called Gazeta Médica do Porto was donated by Ricardo Jorge to the Biblioteca Municipal (Rua de D. João IV 17), Porto. In this number, there is the official explanation of how he found out the bubonic plague in Porto in 1899 and the measures he took in that same year to fight against this epidemic.
