Sir Hans Sloane is buried, along with his wife Elizabeth, in this tomb next to the Chelsea Old Church in London (on the corner of Old Church Street and the Embankment). The monument was erected by Sloane’s two daughters, Eliza Cadogan and Sarah Stanley.
