This memorial tablet in the main courtyard of the Edinburgh Medical School in Edinburgh remembers James Lind, “The Hippocrates of naval medicine”. It was presented by the Sunkist Growers of Citrus Fruit of California and Arizona on the 22nd of May 1953 “in honour of the first experimental nutritionist”.
