The monument of Nil Filatov, the famous Russian pediatrician and the one of the founders of Moscow pediatric school, is located in Moscow in the small park of I M Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University’s clinical campus on Devichye Pole (Bolshaya Pirogovskaya str.). The creators of the monument sculptor V. E. Tsigal, architects G. I. Gavrilov, E. I. Kutyrev. It was built on May 26, 1960.
The Russian inscription on the monument reads: “To Nil Fedorovich Filatov – a friend of children”.
