Penicillin Discovery Blue Plaque

A Blu Plaque remembering the discovery of penicillin by Alexander Fleming may be seen on the right corner of St Mary’s Hospital‘s Clarence Wing, in London (Praed Street). The English inscription reads as follows: “SIR / ALEXANDER / FLEMING / 1881-1955 / DISCOVERED PENICILLIN / IN THE SECOND STOREY / ROOM ABOVE THIS / PLAQUE”. Actually, the ‘second storey room’ host the Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum.
