This marble bust of Richard Mead can be seen, among others, in the Central Hall of St Thomas’ Hospital in London. On the black marble column of the pedestal, we can read the following inscription: “Mead / B. 1673. D. 1754. / To / The New / Hospital / The Old Students / Gift / 1871”.
