The monumental tomb of Vicente José de Carvalho can be found in Section 27 of the Cemitério Prado do Repouso, the biggest and the second oldest cemetery in Porto (Largo do Padre Baltazar Guedes, s/n). The monumental tomb was erected in 1852 by public subscription.
Even if the original inscription is almost illegible, the board of the City Hall has recently added an expalantory signboard.
