This oil-on-canvas portrait of Wilder Penfield can be seen in a corridor on the ground floor of Penfield Pavillion at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital in Montreal. It was painted by American artist Lynn Buckham in August 1972 when Penfield was 81. The scientist is portrayed in front of the Montreal copy of the statue La Nature se dévoilant devant la Science.
