Willem Johan Kolff’s House

Willem Kolff and his wife with their two children moved from Groninger to Kampen in 1941. Here in Kampen, on the first of July 1941 he became the first full-time physician in the history of the City Hospital.

They moved in a middle class, semi-detached house on the new estate “Zuid”, a few minutes’ walk from the hospital. Young neighbourhood with lots of families.
