Lizzanello commemorates Cosimo De Giorgi with a bronze bust in March 2011. At first it was located in the municipal villa and then moved in front of the town hall (via XX Settembre). On the basament we find this inscription:
“A/ COSIMO DE GIORGI/ LIZZANELLO // L’AMMINISTRAZIONE /COMUNALE/ SINDACO/ COSTANTINO GIOVANNICO // MARZO 2011”.
