This oil-on-canvas portrait of Joseph Guislain can be seen in the Museum Dr. Guislain in Ghent (Jozef Guislainstraat 43). It’s a work of 1840 by Flemish painter J.E.Van Der Plaetsen, donated by Maurice Delanier (as can be read on the frame).
