Joseph Hyrtl’s Bust

This marble bust of Josef Hyrtl (1810-1894), was created by sculptor Johann Kalmsteiner (1845-1897) and can be seen among the medical monuments that can be found in the arcaded courtyard of the University of Vienna (Universitätsring, 1). It was unveiled in 1889.
