Just in front of the big Antonio Cardarelli’s Hospital named after him in Naples, a bronze bust of Antonio Cardarelli was placed on the 25th anniversary of his death. On the marble basament, a latin inscription reads as follows: “ANTONIO CARDARELLI / QUI MORBORUM CAUSAS ATQUE SIGNA / PRAECLARE INTELLEXIT / SUMMOQUE DOCUIT AMORE / ANNO POST EIUS OBITUM XXV / A.D.MCMLIII”.
