Cosimo De Giorgi’s Manuscripts

The collection of Cosimo De Giorgi’s handwritten works is available in the “Museo Provinciale Sigismondo Castromediano” of Lecce (Viale Gallipoli).

Cosimo De Giorgi was a physician and a versatile man, involved in the scientific research and teaching.

In all his life he developed his interests in different kinds of knowledge as paleontology, archeology, geography, hydrography, meteorology, geology, seismology, agriculture and hygiene.
