On the right side of the “Teatro Comunale” in Carpi (Piazza Martiri, 72), a marble bust of Jacopo Berengario da Carpi stands as a decoration of an entrance gate.
On the basament, a part from the scientist’s name, there is this simple inscription: “CHIRURGO ANATOMICO / 1460 – 1530”.
