A marble bust of the French neurologist and psychiatrist Jules Baillarger can be seen in the gardens near the main entrance of the Hôpital de la Salpêtrière, in Paris. On the basament of the bust can be read this brief inscription: “BAILLARGER / 1809 – 1890 / LA SOCIETE / MEDICO-PSYCHOLOGIQUE / SES AMIS – SES ELEVES”.
