Tommaso Cigliano lived in this house, in Forio, on the island of Ischia. On the monument that he built on the house in 18911 the following inscription is well evident: “SIMILIA SIMILIBUS”. It was written in memory of his professed commitment to the benefit of the homeopathy. On the main door there are his initials (T-C) and this following latin inscription can be read: “CUM LABORE ET STUDIO 1891”
In 1993, a memorial tablet was placed on the facade.
