This marble memorial tablet of Pietro Capparoni can be seen at the top of the staircase in the Sala Alessandrina of the Accademia di Storia dell’Arte Sanitaria in Rome.

Under a bronze medallion with the profile of the scientist, the Italian inscription reads as follows: “PIETRO CAPPARONI / INSIGNE STORICO DELLA MEDICINA / PRESIDENTE BENEMERITO / L’ACCADEMIA DI STORIA DELL’ARTE SANITARIA / D / 1868 1947”.
