Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński lived in this house of Kraków (ul. Karmelicka 6) with his wife Zofia (daughter of his boss, the pediatrician Jan Pareński) and his son Stanislaw.
A memorial tablet near the entrance reads in Polish as follows: “In this house lived Tadeusz Żeleński (Boy),an outstanding writer, translator, theatre critic, distinguished social activist, murdered by the Nazis in 1941 in Lviv”.
