Luigi Sacco‘s home in Milan has been preserved and can be seen in Corso Monforte n.26.
On the elegant facade of the house the following inscription can be read: “Luigi Sacco / medico botanico agricoltore / il primo in Italia a studiare ad [sic!] attuare / il vaccino divinato da Jenner / abitò in questa casa e vi moriva / il 26 dicembre 1836. / Il comitato milanese / di vaccinazione animale / 1878″.
