The house where Marie Curie was born in 1867 is situated in Warsaw (16 Freta St.), in a historic house (XVIII century), and since 1967 hosts a Museum, property of The Polish Chemical Society which head-quarter is situated in the same building.
A stone tablet on the facade of the house remembers, in Polish, the famous host. The Museum displays – among many other things – Marie Curie’s dress and other personal belongings.
