Behind Rocco Jemma’s bust in the “Sala dei busti” on the second floor of the “Clinica Pediatrica” of the Primo Policlinico di Napoli in Naples a memorial tablet dedicated to the memory of Rocco Jemma can be seen. The marble tablet was inaugurated in 1950, a year after Jemma’s death.
On the tablet we can read the following Latin inscription: “SCHOLA CLINICA / INFANTIBUS ALENDIS ET PUERIS CURANDIS / JAMDUDUM INSTITUTA / EST DEMUM FELICITER AUCTA ET PERFECTA / EXEUNTE ANNO MCMXXVIII / VICTORIO EMANUELE III REGE / CONSILIO ET OPERA SAPIENTISSIMA / ROCHI JEMMA”.
Under Rocco Jemma’s memorial tablet there is a bookcase with books of pediatrics.
