According to a well documented tradition, the body of Saint Luke, the Evangelist, is conserved in a lateral chapel of the Basilica of Santa Giustina, in Padua at least from XIIth Century.
In recent years the mortal remains – a skeleton without the skull – were submitted to careful scientific analysis that confirmed their compatibility with the known historical data about the Author of the Third Gospel and of the Acts of the Apostles1.
